The Glazz Eye is a stained glass studio located in Columbia, Missouri. Unlike most stained glass studios, I work in came (as opposed to cooper foil). Mainly I use lead came, but also offer zinc, copper and brass came.
For those not familiar with stained glass construction, here's a brief explaination.
I display some work at Village Glass Works' (315 N. Tenth St., Columbia, Mo). And hope to soon exhibit at the new gallery at the Columbia Second Chance Adoption Center outside Boonville.
If you are interested in commissioning a custom panel, talk to Susie Fiegel at VGW (573-443-0393) and mention The Glazz Eye, or email us directly. I will deliver within a 50-mile radius of Columbia, and can do simple installations. If personal delivery or pickup isn't possible, I can ship panels. Large panels go via UPS in custom-made plywood crates. Small pieces are shipped in strong cardboard boxes (double boxed if necessary). All items are insured for the actual cost.
Of course, there's nothing like learning how to make your own. I teach lead came classes at Village Glass Works. If you are interested in learning the craft, here's an overview of the class.
